When the iPhone SE hits stores in April, expect the iPhone 5S to begin selling for as little as $5.99 at its normal price of $649.99, according to a new report.
Apple’s flagship smartphone is expected to be priced at $650, or $600 cheaper than its predecessor, the iPhone 4S, the report said.
It expects Apple’s flagship to have the same display resolution as its predecessor with the iPhone’s 4.7-inch display, according the report.
The report said that while the iPhone 3GS is the iPhone series’ flagship phone, it has been eclipsed by the iPhone X, which has a display resolution of 4.2 inches.iPhone X is expected by Apple to feature a 4K display and its camera will be the same as its iPhone 5, the study said.iPhone 6S will have the “iPhone X+1.1” display with a 1.1-megapixel camera and iPhone X Plus will have a 1-megabit chip, it said.
The iPhone 5 will have “4K,” “iPhone 6” and “iPhone 5s” display sizes, the company said.
Apple is expected in April to release the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which will be smaller, thinner and feature a new design, the Wall Street Journal reported.
