An iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus case is the latest gadget to receive a redesign.
The Apple Watch was the first device to receive the new design, with the company updating its watchOS 4 software last month to remove the “slide to unlock” feature, and the company’s iPhone 6s Plus was the second device to update its operating system in the new style.
Apple has also updated the way it handles notifications.
The app for the iPhone 6 has been redesigned to make it easier to tap the “messages” section of a message, and now displays it on the left side of the screen rather than just the right side.
It’s not yet clear if the iPhone 7 will also get a redesign, with Apple currently waiting on the final design of its flagship phone.
“iPhone 8 is a great design that will continue to deliver amazing experiences for consumers and businesses around the world,” Apple said in a statement.
However, it’s not all good news for iPhone fans.
The iPhone 6’s backside features a fingerprint scanner, but it will be a little longer to scan with an iPhone 7 Plus.
